Role: Shopify Web Developer

About the Role: We’re looking for a Shopify Developer to build, customise, and maintain websites for our roster of premium clients. All client websites run on Shopify, so this is a hands-on, ownership role — from custom theme coding to picking the right stack of apps and partners for each brand’s stage of growth
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Build and customise Shopify themes and templates - including custom Liquid/HTML/CSS/JS work
- Onsite performance: page speed, mobile responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and basic SEO hygiene
- Evaluate and implement apps, plugins, and integrations (payments, CRM, analytics, forms, email/WhatsApp tools) suited to each client’s needs
- Advise on Shopify payment gateways and checkout setup
- Optimise websites for page speed, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and basic SEO hygiene
- Stay current on Shopify’s evolving app/AI ecosystem and recommend tools that keep client sites competitive and on-trend
- Troubleshoot theme, app, and hosting issues; manage backups and migrations
- Work closely with our design, content, and performance marketing teams to execute briefs accurately
- Ensure websites are secure, scalable, and easy to manage post-launch
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience with Shopify
- Knowledge of themes, plugins, and CMS tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Experience with hosting, backups, and site migrations
- Ability to work full-time from office in Delhi
- Candidates must have their own laptop
Preferred:
- Agency background, managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Exposure to international/cross-border Shopify setups (multi-currency, Shopify Payments alternatives like Razorpay/PayPal/Stripe, DDP/DDU shipping)
- Basic SEO and analytics familiarity (GA4, Search Console)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
