About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions in risk management for global organisations.. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and scalable cloud-based AI architectures. This role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams to solve complex business challenges through AI-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to product specification
* Be a guide in developing the overall specification and working with Head of AI to ensure functional requirements are being met.
* Build and optimize Generative AI applications using LLMs Claude.
* Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, AI agents, and conversational AI solutions.
* Lead end-to-end AI project delivery, from problem definition to production deployment.
* Create scalable AI pipelines using Python, machine learning frameworks, and cloud platforms.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate requirements into solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across AI initiatives.
* Stay current with emerging AI technologies, research, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI development.
* Strong expertise in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
* Hands-on experience with Atropic Claude and Mistral (desirable).
* Experience building and deploying AI solutions on Azure.
* Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
Experience with PostGre SQL in Azure
Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and model monitoring.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience leading AI engineering teams or enterprise AI transformation initiatives.
* Knowledge of AI governance, model explainability, and responsible AI practices.
* Experience with multi-agent systems, autonomous workflows, and AI copilots.
*Deep learning-synthetic information to train LLM, as part of Azure (hallucination experience)
