Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Mumbai (with travel across assigned territory)

Role Overview
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling process instrumentation and automation solutions to industrial customers. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales capabilities to identify opportunities, provide solutions, and build long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote products including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical instruments
- Conduct technical discussions, site visits, and product presentations to customers
- Understand customer process requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and follow up for order closure
- Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain healthy sales pipeline
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (consultants, EPCs, end users)
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, delivery, and after-sales support
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and collections
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and instrumentation
- Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical specifications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving mindset
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Automation & Robotics Engineering, or sales engineering field
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in field sales of industrial products (preferably instrumentation/automation)
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn may also be considered
