handlingWe are looking for an organized, proactive, and energetic Event Sales Assistant to join our events division. In this role, you will be the backbone of our sales team, managing the end-to-end administrative flow, handle initial inbound client inquiries, and coordinating logistics to convert potential leads into successful bookings.
You will work closely with the Event Sales Manager/Head of Events to ensure revenue targets are met and that events (Corporate, MICE, Weddings, or Socials) transition smoothly from the sales phase to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Inquiry & Lead Management: Promptly handle inbound leads arriving via phone, WhatsApp Business, email, and social media channels. Filter and qualify leads based on guest count, budget, and event dates.
- Documentation & Proposals: Draft customized event proposals, cost sheets, and Client Agreement forms. Maintain clear data trackers in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets.
- Venue Recce Support: Coordinate, schedule, and occasionally lead client site inspections (venue recces) when Sales Managers are occupied.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments like F&B (Catering), Production, Decor, and Banquets to verify rates, availability, and feasibility before sending final pitches to clients.
- Post-Event Feedback: Connect with clients post-event to gather feedback, collect testimonials, and explore future business or referral opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in any stream. A degree/diploma in Mass Communication, or Event Management is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing or sales support role (ideally within banquets, wedding planning agencies, or corporate event management firms). Freshers with strong communication and internship experience in events may also apply.
- Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English, as well as conversational Hindi (knowledge of regional local languages is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel for budgeting and Word for proposals) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with CRM systems or software like WhatsApp Business is an advantage.
- Interpersonal Ability: Ability to multi-task under pressure, manage strict turnaround times (TAT), and stay calm during peak event seasons.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or late evenings, depending on event schedules and client requirements.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
