Job Description (JD) – Security Officer (Ex-Serviceman Preferred)
Position: Security Officer
Department: Administration / Security
Location: Namo E-Waste Management Ltd.
Reporting To: Plant Head / Admin Manager
Experience: 5–10 years (Ex-Army, Ex-Air Force, Ex-Navy, or Industrial Security experience preferred)
Job Summary
The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's employees, visitors, assets, plant, and materials. The role includes managing security personnel, enforcing security procedures, monitoring access control, preventing theft, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all security operations at the plant.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
- Ensure proper gate control, visitor management, and material movement.
- Prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access to company premises.
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections.
- Investigate security incidents and submit detailed reports.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems.
- Coordinate emergency response during fire, accidents, or other emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials with gate passes and documentation.
- Train and supervise security guards on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Liaise with local police, fire department, and emergency services when required.
- Maintain security records, incident reports, and daily logs.
- Support EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) activities and emergency preparedness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Ex-Serviceman (Army/Air Force/Navy) preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or recycling plant security.
- Good knowledge of CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and security procedures.
- Strong leadership, discipline, and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, report preparation).

Preferred Candidate: Ex-Army personnel with experience in industrial or manufacturing plant security will be given preference.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
