We are currently hiring for the position of Design Head – CNC / VMC Machine Manufacturing for our manufacturing plant based at Latipura Padra.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of Turning, VMC, Surface Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, Laser Cutting Machines, etc.
- Collaborate with product managers and subject matter experts to develop optimized machine designs.
- Take complete ownership of new machine development from concept, prototype validation, and testing to mass production.
- Ensure machine designs meet performance, reliability, quality, and cost objectives.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Vendor/OEM selection, benchmarking competitor designs, and cost analysis.
- Review and approval of engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Resolve design-related issues during production and field operations.
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing and quality teams.
- Implement CAD/CAE best practices, simulations, and design validation processes.
- Standardization of design modules for improved efficiency.
- Manage design timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
- Develop SOPs and assembly documentation.
