Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Conduct engaging classroom activities using play-based and experiential learning methods.
- Encourage language development, early literacy, numeracy, and creative thinking.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students.
Classroom Management
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of all students.
- Organize and maintain classroom resources, displays, and learning materials.
- Foster positive behavior through encouragement and age-appropriate classroom management strategies.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, meals, assemblies, and outdoor play.
Parent Communication
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and discuss students' academic and developmental progress.
- Address parent concerns professionally and collaboratively.
School Responsibilities
- Participate in school events, celebrations, workshops, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Follow all school policies, child safeguarding guidelines, and health & safety procedures.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori Training, or equivalent is preferred
