Salesforce Nonprofit Solution Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Nonprofit Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and successful delivery of Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and/or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and a strong understanding of nonprofit business processes, including fundraising, donor management, grants management, volunteer engagement, and constituent relationship management.
As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with business stakeholders, clients, project managers, and technical teams to design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and implementation of Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and implement solutions using Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and/or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
- Provide architectural guidance on Salesforce platform capabilities, integrations, security, and data migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design solutions for fundraising, donor management, grants management, volunteer management, program management, and constituent engagement.
- Define solution architecture, data models, and integration strategies.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and governance standards.
- Mentor developers, administrators, and consultants throughout project delivery.
- Support solution demonstrations, effort estimation, and technical discussions during client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect on enterprise implementations.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and/or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
- Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce Platform capabilities.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and role hierarchy.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, third-party integrations, and middleware platforms.
- Experience in Salesforce data migration and deployment strategies.
- Strong client-facing communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
