Key Responsibilities
- Assembly Planning & Execution
- Execute daily assembly plan as per production schedule, BOM, and route card.
- Review GA drawings, wiring diagrams (if applicable), and assembly SOPs.
- Coordinate with fabrication, paint/powder coating, and stores for parts availability.
- Mechanical Assembly
- Assemble base frames, casings, access doors, panels, and drain pans; ensure alignment and leak-tightness.
- Install coils, fan-motor units, pulleys/belts or direct-drive EC/plug fans, vibration isolators, and flexible connectors.
- Fit filters (pre, fine, HEPA as applicable), dampers, accessories, and controls housings.
- Apply sealing/caulking; verify panel insulation (PIR/PUR/mineral wool) and thermal break elements.
- Quality & Testing
- Perform in-process checks: torque values, clearances, belt tension, rotation direction, fastener tagging.
- Support leakage tests (casing leakage class per standard), vibration & noise checks, airflow/pressure measurements.
- Ensure conformance to drawings/QAP/ASHRAE/SMACNA guidelines where applicable.
- Documentation & ERP
- Close work orders and issue material in ERP; maintain DHR/traceability (serials: motors, coils, fans).
- Record non-conformances, initiate CAPA, and support 8D/Kaizen.
- Safety & 5S
- Ensure PPE usage, safe handling of coils and sharp sheets, ergonomic practices, and LOTO where needed.
- Maintain 5S, visual boards, and red-tagging.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of AHU components: coils, fans/EC fans, filters, dampers, access doors, insulation, drain pans.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings/GA, basic GD&T, wiring basics (for fan/motor rotation).
- Hands-on with riveting, fasteners, sealants, balancing basics, vibration isolation.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, and lean principles.
- ERP (SAP/Oracle/Tally/Zoho or similar) exposure; MS Excel for reports.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
