Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with 1–2 years of experience in a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production and packaging machines to ensure smooth manufacturing operations while adhering to quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production and packaging machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Set up machines before production and perform changeovers as required.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with minimal downtime and wastage.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and report any deviations.
- Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and batch details.
- Follow GMP, safety, and hygiene guidelines at all times.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods during operations.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area (5S practices).
Required Skills
- Knowledge of operating production and packaging machines.
- Basic understanding of machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with GMP and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and SOPs.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and effective communication.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: ITI, Diploma.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years as a Machine Operator in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
