What is the work?
- Understand client business processes and gather functional requirements.
- Conduct discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Analyze business needs and recommend appropriate Odoo solutions.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flows, and solution specifications.
- Perform gap analysis between standard Odoo functionality and client requirements.
- Configure and implement Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Provide guidance on best practices and process optimization.
- Assist development teams in understanding functional requirements and customizations.
- Support data migration, workflow configuration, and user role setup.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution validation.
- Act as a functional advisor during implementation projects.
- Conduct online demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops.
- Provide consultation on ERP adoption and change management.
- Assist clients in maximizing the utilization of Odoo ERP
- Participate in client discovery calls.
- Assist in effort estimation, scope definition, and proposal preparation.
- Recommend suitable Odoo modules and implementation approaches.
- Support sales teams with functional demonstrations and solution presentations.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Valid Odoo 19 Functional Certification.
- Experience implementing multiple end-to-end Odoo ERP projects.
- Strong understanding of Odoo modules: CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR & Payroll, Project Management, and Helpdesk.
- Ability to independently conduct client meetings, discovery workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Strong business process analysis, functional consulting, and solution design capabilities.
- Experience preparing FRDs, process maps, functional specifications, and implementation documentation.
- Knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies and business process optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and implementation plans.
- Experience supporting UAT, training, change management, and user adoption activities.
- Basic understanding of Odoo technical architecture, customization processes, and development workflows.
- Experience with Odoo versions 16, 17, 18, and 19 is preferred.
- Exposure to international clients and remote consulting engagements is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and project deliverables simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting and implementation environment.
