We are looking for a dedicated, organized, and proactive Senior Store Keeper / Store Executive to manage store operations, inventory control, and inward & outward material movement while ensuring smooth coordination with production, procurement, and dispatch teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including the receipt, storage, preservation, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials for easy accessibility and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment by implementing 5S and company safety standards.
Inward & Outward Material Management
- Manage all inward and outward material movements accurately and efficiently.
- Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for all received materials.
- Issue materials to production departments against authorized Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain complete records of inward and outward transactions.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, dispatch, and transportation activities while ensuring material safety and timely movement.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records through the ERP system.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure the timely availability of materials for production.
- Conduct daily stock updates, periodic physical stock verification, and cycle counts.
- Reconcile physical inventory with ERP records and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
ERP & Documentation
- Perform accurate ERP transactions, including:
- Goods Receipt (GRN)
- Material Issue
- Stock Transfer
- Inventory Adjustments
- Material Returns
- Dispatch Entries
- Maintain all store-related documentation, including:
- GRNs
- Delivery Challans
- Purchase Documents
- Material Requisition Slips
- Gate Passes
- Stock Registers
- Inventory Reports
- Material Movement Records
Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with the Purchase, Production, Planning, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability to support production schedules.
- Communicate stock shortages and reorder requirements to the Purchase team.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Inventory & MIS Reports.
- Support Internal, External, Customer, ISO, and Statutory Audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and inventory control standards.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, material handling, and inventory processes.
- Implement inventory control measures to reduce material loss and improve operational efficiency.
Candidate ProfileExperience
- 2–3 years of experience in Store, Inventory, Warehouse, or Material Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Plastic, Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Compostable Products, or FMCG industries will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
