As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Define connected vehicle platform system reference architectures 5G TCU V2X OBU GNSS OTA telematics backend and C ITS PKI integration
2. Lead MBSE adoption for connected vehicle system design Sys ML based security architecture and model driven TARA traceability
3. Drive cybersecurity management strategy at organizational level UNECE R155 CSMS programmer ISO SAE 21434 lifecycle governance
4. Lead UNECE R155 R156 regulatory compliance strategy CSMS framework design SUMS process definition and type approval preparation
5. Interface with OEM Chief Cybersecurity Officers CISO and Chief Connectivity Architects for platform security development
6. Champion advanced TARA methodology model-based threat analysis automated cybersecurity requirement generation and risk tracking
7. Establish reusable connected vehicle SE IP security architecture templates TARA knowledge base ICD catalogue and OTA system reference
8. Govern ASPICE Level 3 SYS compliance organization wide for connected vehicle programmers define Level 4 5 readiness roadmap
9. Lead complex technical proposals for connected vehicle systems engineering and cybersecurity engagement opportunities
10. Build connected vehicle systems engineering competency cybersecurity curriculum TARA training and systems engineering CoE
11. Engage with regulatory bodies ETSI ITS WG 3GPP CT WG and ISO TC22 SC32 on behalf of the organization
12. Strong experience in development and deployment of connected car features using various cloud environments AWS AZURE etc
13. Good experience in CI CD DevOps application for automotive industry
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Must Have Mastery of connected vehicle system engineering cybersecurity architecture TARA methodology and regulatory compliance
2. Must Have Expert ISO SAE 21434 governance and UNECE R155 R156 compliance experience across multiple production programmers
3. Must Have Experience be defining platform level connected vehicle cybersecurity architectures for multiple OEM customers
4. Must Have Deep MBSE expertise with model-based TARA and Sys ML based security architecture for connected vehicle systems
5. Must Have Experience governing ASPICE compliant systems engineering organization wide and driving continuous process improvement
6. Must Have Proven engagement with OEM CISO Chief Connectivity Architects on complex connected vehicle cybersecurity programmers
7. Must Have Track record of delivering UNECE R155 R156 compliant connected vehicle system engineering for production programmers
8. Good to Have Experience with ETSI ITS system architecture C ITS PKI CPKI Root CA enrolment authority and pseudonym strategy
9. Good to Have Knowledge of 3GPP V2X system architecture network slicing MEC and V2X application enabler VAE layer
10. Good to Have Familiarity with formal threat modelling methods STRIDE PASTA and HEAVENS for automotive attack surface analysis
11. Good to Have Exposure to satellite ground hybrid connected vehicle architecture for global connectivity coverage
12. Good to Understand next generation cybersecurity post quantum PKI transition strategy for vehicle certificate management
