Job Overview
This role involves delivering exceptional post-sales technical assistance, conducting product trainings, resolving complex software-related issues, and supporting the successful adoption and usage of SOLIDWORKS and its ecosystem by our clients. You will serve as a critical link between the customer, internal teams, and Dassault Systèmes to ensure client success and satisfaction. This role requires travelling to client office as and when needed. This role needs 1 to 2 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Post-Sales Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Deliver prompt and effective technical assistance to customers using SOLIDWORKS and related solutions (e.g., Simulation, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE).
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to installation, activation, licensing, modeling errors, performance, and software configuration.
- Provide remote support via calls, emails, screen sharing, or remote desktop tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer cases, solutions, and feedback in internal systems and Dassault Systèmes’ SR portal.
- Engage with Dassault Systèmes support to escalate complex issues and follow through to resolution.
2. On-Site Customer Support & Implementation
- Visit client locations for installation, system setup, hardware/software validation, and post-installation troubleshooting.
- Support the deployment and configuration of SOLIDWORKS products and add-ons.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation and provide hands-on support for successful onboarding.
3. Training & Enablement
- Deliver standard and customized training sessions (in-person and virtual) on SOLIDWORKS CAD, simulation tools (FEA), PDM, and other modules as needed.
- Train customer teams on best practices, workflows, and features to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and update training materials, guides, and quick-start content.
- Promote the adoption of new features and updates during product lifecycle transitions.
4. Customer Success & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customers through proactive engagement and trust-building.
- Monitor product usage to ensure client success and ROI realization.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in client workflows and recommend process optimizations.
- Gather and relay client feedback, bug reports, and enhancement suggestions to internal teams and Dassault Systèmes.
5. Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to support presales demonstrations, customer proposals, and solution alignment.
- Share insights gained from the field to improve internal knowledge bases, training frameworks, and product positioning.
- Contribute to team growth through internal learning sessions and documentation efforts.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Mandatory: Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (part, assembly, drawing, surfacing, sheet metal, etc.)
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and material properties.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills in CAD environments.
- Working knowledge of system hardware and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Willingness to travel within the Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai regions.
Preferred Skills
- SOLIDWORKS certifications such as CSWA, CSWP, or higher.
- Exposure to SOLIDWORKS Simulation, PDM, or 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- Experience in technical support, customer success, or CAD training.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, support portals (especially Dassault’s SR system), and CRM tools.
- B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical or related engineering field
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
