Position: Raw Material Procurement Executive
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Experience Required: 2–5 Years
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or relevant
Preferred Industry Background: Relevant pharmaceutical/manufacturing experience preferred
Salary: ₹30,000–₹40,000 CTC
Role Overview
We are looking for a Raw Material Procurement Executive to manage sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of quality raw materials while maintaining inventory efficiency and supporting cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of raw materials in line with production requirements
- Source and coordinate with vendors for timely material availability
- Ensure procurement optimization for cost efficiency and process effectiveness
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for procured materials
- Support the production team to avoid material shortages and delays
- Coordinate with the R&D team regarding material requirements and specifications
- Handle vendor management activities and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Ensure proper documentation and procurement records are maintained
- Utilize ERP systems for procurement tracking and reporting
- Prepare and manage reports using Excel
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Pharma
- 2–5 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience in raw material procurement within a relevant industry preferred
- Knowledge of vendor management and inventory control practices
- Good working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
- Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills
