We are looking for a skilled Developer and Report Writer to join our IT team. In this role, you will design and build reports, automate business processes, and develop custom tools and integrations that support our manufacturing operations. You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver clean, reliable solutions using SQL, SSRS, and C#.
Key Responsibilities
SQL Development & Data Management
- Write and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions across multiple databases
- Design and optimize data models to support reporting and application needs
- Troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues and implement corrective solutions
- Support data migrations, ETL processes, and inter-system data exchange
- Monitor and tune query performance on SQL Server environments
Report Development (SSRS)
- Design, build, and maintain a library of SSRS reports and dashboards used across operations, finance, inventory, and production
- Develop parameterized, drill-through, and subreport structures to meet complex business requirements
- Schedule and deploy reports via SSRS Report Manager; manage subscriptions and delivery
- Work with stakeholders to iterate on report design for clarity and usability
- Build and document reusable data sources and datasets
Application Development
- Develop internal tools, utilities, and automation scripts using C# and .NET
- Build and maintain integrations between business systems using REST APIs, file-based exchanges, or database-to-database methods
- Support and extend existing custom applications as business needs evolve
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and version control practices
ERP & Business Systems Support
- Develop custom reports and queries within our ERP system (Epicor Kinetic), including BAQs and dashboards
- Collaborate with the ERP team on system enhancements and data extraction needs
- Assist with ERP upgrade testing as it relates to custom development and reporting
Collaboration & Communication
- Gather and document technical requirements from non-technical stakeholders
- Translate business problems into practical data and development solutions
- Maintain thorough documentation of reports, queries, and custom code
- Provide end-user support and training on developed tools and reports
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a developer, report writer, or business systems analyst role
- Strong T-SQL skills — complex joins, subqueries, stored procedures, CTEs, and performance tuning
- Solid SSRS experience — report authoring, parameters, subscriptions, and deployment
- C# and .NET development experience for internal tools and automation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI as a complement to SSRS
- Familiarity with REST API development or consumption
- Exposure to ERP systems, particularly Epicor Kinetic (BAQs, BPMs, customizations)
- Background in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
