Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Indian Bread Maker to prepare and cook traditional Indian breads such as porotta, dosa, appam, chapati, pathiri. The role requires expertise in dough preparation, and maintaining high quality, taste, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare dough and batter for porotta, dosa, appam, chapati, and pathiri
· Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all bread items
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, equipment, and tools
· Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen SOPs
· Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control
· Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
· Handle bulk production during peak hours while maintaining quality
· Follow instructions from Executive chef and Management
Requirements Skills
· Experience in making porotta, dosa, appam, and other south Indian breads
· Knowledge of dough kneading, fermentation, batter preparation, and cooking
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
· Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
· Physically fit to work long hours in a hot kitchen environment
· Team player with a positive attitude
