Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior mechanics and technicians.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Perform complex troubleshooting on various makes and models; utilize modern diagnostic tools and scanners.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure all repairs are completed correctly and safely the first time.
- Workshop Management: Manage daily workflow, optimise service bay efficiency, and maintain a safe, organised working environment.
- Customer Interaction: Assist service advisors by explaining technical issues to customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to prevent delays.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on automotive repair experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Education: Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or ITI certification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of engine repair, transmission, electrical, suspension, and braking systems. Strong computer skills for using modern OBD/diagnostic software.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license; OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certifications are a major plus.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
