Job Summary:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Desk Executive to manage the complete travel lifecycle for our executive team and employees. The ideal candidate will act as a "one-stop solution," ensuring a seamless, point-to-point experience for both domestic and international journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Ticketing & Planning
- Expertly book Flight (Domestic & International) and Train tickets (IRCTC/Special quotas) ensuring cost-effective and logical routes.
- Manage point-to-point itineraries, including airport transfers, local cab rentals, and transit accommodations.
- Arrange hotel stays globally, optimizing for budget, proximity, and executive preferences.
2. Documentation & Compliance
- Full ownership of Visa processing, passport renewals, and travel insurance.
- Ensure all international health protocols and entry requirements are strictly met.
- Maintain strict compliance with the company’s internal travel policies.
3. Vendor & Crisis Management
- Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, and hotel partners to negotiate premium corporate rates.
- Provide 24/7 support for last-minute cancellations, rescheduling, or emergency travel disruptions.
- Handle refunds and credit shells efficiently to minimize financial loss.
4. Expense Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain meticulous records of travel bookings, invoices, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for timely settlements and audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) and IRCTC portals.
- International Knowledge: Deep understanding of global time zones, international airline alliances, and visa regulations for major hubs (US, UK, Europe, SE Asia).
- Experience: Proven track record in a Corporate Travel Desk or a reputed International Travel Agency.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills for professional correspondence with international service providers.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any stream; a Diploma in Travel & Tourism (IATA certified) is highly preferred.
