Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Middleware Architect with extensive expertise in
IBM Middleware technologies, including IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM
Integration Bus (IIB), IBM Managed File Transfer (MFT), Connect: Direct, and WebSphere
Message Broker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing,
supporting, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions across complex distributed
environments.
The role requires strong technical leadership, production support experience, migration
expertise, and the ability to work closely with application, infrastructure, and business
teams to deliver highly available and secure integration services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using IBM MQ,
ACE, IIB, WebSphere Message Broker, MFT, and Connect: Direct.
- Architect and maintain distributed Queue Manager environments, including
RDQM configurations.
- Create and manage MQ objects, queues, channels, listeners, and message
flows.
- Configure and administer SSL/TLS security for Queue Managers, MQ clients, and
external integrations.
- Lead middleware platform upgrades and migrations, including IBM MQ and
ACE/IIB migrations.
- Design and implement secure file transfer solutions using IBM MFT and
Connect: Direct.
- Troubleshoot complex middleware connectivity, messaging, and performance
issues.
- Support production deployments, release management, dress rehearsals, and
application migration activities.
- Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
- Monitor middleware platforms using Dynatrace and ServiceNow and ensure
timely resolution of production incidents.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver integration solutions throughout the
SDLC lifecycle.
- Create technical documentation, architecture artifacts, operational procedures,
and support guides.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to project teams.
