About the Role
The FrontEnd Engineer builds the Product portal - a React-based UI. Working across all four streams, the engineer develops reusable UI components, integrates with Go backend services, and delivers responsive, high-performance user experiences for issue tracking, document management, and cross-stream integrations.
Key Responsibilities
· Feature and Tech Implementations - Develop, test, and deliver tasks for frontend components identified as part of task breakdown and estimation. This includes building Product-portal UI components, reusable frameworks React components, rich text editor integrations, and tracking UI interfaces.
· Tech Support - Provide installation, configuration, and operational support for frontend solutions deployed within the demo and customer non-prod clusters.
· Task Breakdown & Estimation - Collaborate with Leads and other Engineers to prepare work breakdown structures and provide frontend-specific task plans and estimates.
· Team Coordination - Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and cross-stream sync meetings to ensure frontend deliverables align with backend timelines. Coordinate with QA for frontend test strategies.
· Collaboration & Reporting - Track progress in OpenProject/Jira (or similar tracking tools) and provide daily/weekly status updates. Ensure transparency around frontend blockers, dependencies, and risks.
· Operations & Reviews - Participate in project reviews and ensure frontend components comply with overall product goals.
· Reviews & Feedback - Perform peer code reviews on frontend pull requests and follow up on feedback to ensure quality standards are met.
· Issue Triage & Problem Resolution - Assist in triaging frontend bugs and performance issues identified during testing; unblock team members when needed.
· Backlog Management & Grooming - Attend backlog grooming sessions with Product Owners, Architects, and Leads to understand technical requirements and scope for frontend work.
Required Skills
· Front-End Technologies: Strong proficiency in React and Next.js. Solid experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
· Back-End Technologies (for Integration): Working knowledge of APIs - understand backend services to integrate frontend with REST APIs.
· Integration Technologies: Proficiency in consuming and integrating REST APIs; understanding of OAuth2/OIDC authentication flows.
· Tools Proficiency: Proficiency with Git and project management tools.
· Systems Design: Working understanding of scalable frontend architectures and state management patterns.
Preferred Skills
· Performance optimization for large-scale React applications (code-splitting, lazy loading, memoisation).
· Experience with Temporal workflow integration in frontend applications.
· Familiarity with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for integrating search into UI components.
· Experience working on SaaS platforms or enterprise product development.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Pay: ₹306,599.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
