About the Role:
Green Surfer Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant who can handle end-to-end accounting operations, including GST audit, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and audit processes, along with the ability to manage complex financial tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow statements.
- Handle GST filing, GST reconciliation, and GST audit independently.
- Manage TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances within due timelines.
- Conduct vendor reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
- Ensure timely invoice generation, purchase booking, and expense entries.
- Prepare and maintain audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing with accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee inventory accounting, asset register maintenance, and cost control measures.
- Support management with MIS reports, financial analysis, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial data and reporting.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP systems and Excel.
- Proficient in GST return filing, audit documentation, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of income tax, TDS, and financial audit processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
