Job Responsibilities – Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Operate and maintain 11 kV HT substation, transformers, HT/LT panels, DG sets, motors, VFDs, UPS, and control panels.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, sensors, transmitters, and other instrumentation systems.
- Ensure proper calibration, inspection, documentation, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, electrical safety standards, SOPs, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Supervise electricians and technicians and coordinate electrical maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment history.
- Mandatory: Valid Electrical Supervisor Grade A/B Permit and Certificate of Competency issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board (KSELB), with appropriate authorization/scope for the electrical installation handled.
- Experience in 11 kV HT substation and industrial electrical systems is preferred.
- Support audits, validation, qualification, CAPA, and other engineering activities as required.
- Perform other electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and automation duties assigned by management.
Education and qualification
- Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with relevant practical experience; or
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in HT/EHT installations, 11 kV substations, transformers, or electrical maintenance.
Pay: ₹14,200.07 - ₹53,127.36 per month
