Role Purpose
The Manager – Donor Relations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mobilize financial and non-financial resources to support the Foundation's mission and programs. The role focuses on donor engagement, corporate partnerships, grant management, proposal development, and building sustainable relationships with individuals, corporate CSR partners, trusts, foundations, government agencies, and philanthropic institutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Donor Relations and Resource Mobilization
- Develop and implement annual donor engagement and resource mobilization strategies.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate CSR partners, trusts, foundations, and government agencies.
- Develop annual fundraising targets and monitor achievements against approved plans.
- Build long-term donor relationships and strengthen donor retention.
2. Proposal Development and Grant Management
- Lead the preparation of concept notes, grant proposals, presentations, and funding applications.
- Coordinate with program teams to develop impactful and technically sound proposals.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and compliance with donor requirements.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of funding opportunities and partnerships.
3. Corporate and Institutional Partnerships
- Develop strategic partnerships with corporates under CSR initiatives.
- Build relationships with philanthropic organizations, trusts, and foundations.
- Represent the Foundation in meetings, conferences, networking forums, and stakeholder engagements.
- Facilitate MoUs and partnership agreements.
4. Donor Stewardship and Communication
- Maintain regular communication with donors and funding partners.
- Develop donor reports, newsletters, impact stories, and presentations.
- Organize donor visits, appreciation events, and engagement activities.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all donor communications.
5. Monitoring, Reporting and Compliance
- Coordinate with finance and program teams for timely utilization reports and donor reporting.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and applicable statutory provisions.
- Maintain donor databases and fundraising dashboards.
- Support internal and external audits related to grants and donor funds.
6. Brand Building and Outreach
- Support communication and visibility initiatives of the Foundation.
- Collaborate on fundraising campaigns and digital outreach activities.
- Promote the Foundation's work among prospective donors and partners.

Educational Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), MBA, Development Studies, Public Policy, Rural Development, Communications, Marketing, or related disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in donor relations, resource mobilization, fundraising, CSR partnerships, grant writing, or stakeholder management.
- Experience in the development sector, NGOs, foundations, or social enterprises is preferred.
