Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Oracle SOA Suite Consultant to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise integrations using Oracle SOA technologies. The role involves working closely with senior consultants and technical teams to deliver scalable and reliable integration solutions across systems. Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) will be an added advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Integration Development & Support: Assist in development of integration components using Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB), Support implementation of service-oriented architectures and middleware solutions, Work on integration flows using REST/SOAP services and adapters, Troubleshoot and resolve issues in integration workflows, Gain exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for cloud-based integrations
- Project Delivery Support: Assist in full lifecycle activities including design, build, test, and deployment, Support requirement analysis and solution design discussions, Participate in integration implementation and enhancements, Work under guidance of senior consultants to deliver project tasks
- Testing & Debugging: Participate in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and UAT support, Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and assist in resolution, Validate integration performance and data accuracy
- Production Support & Maintenance: Provide L2/L3 support for SOA-based applications, Monitor integration jobs and ensure system stability
Handle incident management, defect tracking, and issue resolution, Assist in change requests and enhancements
- Documentation & Governance: Prepare technical documents such as: Interface design documents, Integration flow diagrams, Test cases and deployment guides. Follow organizational standards and integration best practices
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction: Work with cross-functional teams (ERP, WMS, OTM, Finance systems), Support communication with technical and business stakeholders, Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, etc.)
Professional & Technical Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in Oracle SOA Suite / Integration technologies
- Hands-on exposure to: Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB), Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, XPath
- Basic knowledge of Java, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with tools like JDeveloper, Eclipse, and integration frameworks
- Basic understanding or exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle SOA Suite.
- Good to have: Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Understanding of cloud-based integration patterns, Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git), Domain knowledge (Supply Chain, ERP, Finance integrations), Experience in hybrid integration scenarios (SOA + OIC).
- Integration experience with Oracle OTM / WMS systems and exposure to end-to-end supply chain integrations would be a big plus.
- This position is based at multiple Accenture offices.
