JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. This role is primarily functional in nature, with a strong emphasis on business process expertise, solution configuration, and stakeholder engagement — complemented by the technical capability to manage and deploy add-ons and interface effectively with developers for lighter-weight development tasks.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands the business deeply, can translate requirements into functional solutions within Business Central, and is comfortable bridging the gap between the business and the technical team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary functional expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across assigned modules and business areas
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs and system configurations
- Configure and customize Business Central to meet business and client needs including workflows, posting setups, approval flows, and reporting
- Manage and deploy Business Central add-ons and extensions — coordinating with vendors and internal teams on installation, testing, and rollout
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and developers — translating functional requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
- Perform lighter-weight development tasks such as minor AL code modifications, page and field customizations, and report adjustments where required
- Support end-to-end testing including functional testing, UAT facilitation, and defect resolution
- Provide ongoing support and issue resolution for Business Central users
- Participate in system upgrades, release management, and enhancement deployments
- Create and maintain functional documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Deliver end-user training and support adoption of Business Central features and processes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a functional or techno-functional capacity
- Strong understanding of core Business Central modules — Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, and/or Supply Chain
- Experience in managing and deploying Business Central add-ons and extensions — including vendor coordination, testing, and release management
- Ability to interface with developers — comfortable reviewing AL code, raising technical specifications, and validating development outputs
- Exposure to AL development — capable of performing minor customizations, page extensions, and report modifications independently
- Strong business process knowledge with the ability to map and redesign workflows within Business Central
- Experience facilitating UAT and supporting go-live activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to work with both business users and technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (MB-800 or equivalent)
- Experience with Power BI reporting and integration within the Business Central ecosystem
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing development tasks and release pipelines
- Experience with third-party ISV solutions and marketplace add-ons for Business Central
- Prior experience in an AMS or managed services environment
