Senior Interior Designer – Job Description Position Overview
A Senior Interior Designer is responsible for leading the design and execution of interior architecture projects from concept development to final installation. The role requires strong design leadership, client coordination, technical expertise, and the ability to guide junior designers while ensuring projects meet aesthetic, functional.
Key Responsibilities1. Design Leadership
- Lead the concept development and design direction for residential, commercial, and hospitality interior projects.
- Develop space planning, layout concepts, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Ensure designs align with client requirements, brand identity, and architectural context.
- Maintain high design standards and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Project Management
- Manage multiple interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, and design schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure project deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
3. Client Interaction
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
- Understand client needs and translate them into functional design solutions.
- Present design concepts, 3D visualizations, and material boards.
4. Technical Documentation
- Prepare and review detailed drawings and construction documentation, including:
- Layout plans
- Furniture layouts
- Ceiling plans
- Electrical layouts
- Joinery details
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
5. Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor junior interior designers and design assistants.
- Review design work, drawings, and presentations prepared by the team.
- Support team development and maintain efficient workflow.
6. Vendor & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design implementation accuracy.
- Resolve on-site design or execution issues.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
