ABOUT REDIAL CLINIC
ReDial Clinic (Reversing Diabetes with Lifestyle Management) is one of India’s pioneering physician-led centres focused on reversing chronic metabolic disease — not merely managing it. Founded by Dr. Gagandeep Singh, the clinic has helped over 1,000 patients achieve meaningful reversals across Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, PCOS, Dyslipidaemia, and Fatty Liver through structured, evidence-based lifestyle interventions.
Every patient is enrolled in our Doctor-Led Programme (DLP) — a structured reversal protocol where a Doctor, Nutritionist & Dietitian, and Fitness Coach work together as a dedicated clinical triad on every patient.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a qualified Nutritionist & Dietitian to join the ReDial Clinic clinical team. This role combines the science of clinical dietetics with the practical application of therapeutic nutrition — working directly within a physician-led triad to design and deliver personalised nutrition and diet plans for patients with chronic metabolic conditions.
You will assess patients’ dietary habits, translate medical and lab data into actionable meal plans, and provide ongoing dietary counselling — all under the clinical direction of the treating doctor. The goal is not just to advise on healthy eating, but to use food as a clinical tool to drive measurable metabolic outcomes and, ultimately, disease reversal.
PATIENT PROFILE — WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
All patients present with one or more of the following metabolic conditions. You will develop working competence in nutrition and dietary management across this full profile:
- Type 2 Diabetes — carbohydrate management, glycaemic index application, blood sugar stabilisation through diet
- Hypertension — DASH-aligned dietary approaches, sodium-potassium balance, blood pressure management through nutrition
- Obesity — structured caloric planning, macro distribution, sustainable dietary habits for weight and fat loss
- PCOS — anti-inflammatory diets, low-GI protocols, hormonal balance and insulin sensitivity through food
- Dyslipidaemia — lipid-friendly meal planning, healthy fat inclusion, fibre optimisation for cholesterol management
- Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) — liver-supportive dietary protocols and caloric management
- Metabolic Syndrome — integrated diet plans addressing multiple co-existing conditions simultaneously
The Core Philosophy
Insulin resistance is the common root cause across almost all our patient presentations.
Your dietary interventions must be designed to reduce insulin resistance — not just improve numbers on paper.
You will be fully trained in this clinical nutrition framework by Dr. Gagandeep Singh.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Patient Diet Consultations & Counselling
- Conduct structured one-on-one diet and nutrition consultations for all enrolled patients.
- Take a thorough dietary history — assess food habits, meal timings, portion sizes, cultural food preferences, and lifestyle patterns.
- Design personalised, practical, and medically aligned meal plans based on each patient’s metabolic profile and doctor’s clinical direction.
- Educate patients on macronutrients, micronutrients, portion control, meal timing, food swaps, and reading food labels — in simple, relatable language.
- Provide motivational dietary counselling to help patients build and sustain long-term dietary changes.
2. Therapeutic Diet Planning
- Translate lab results (HbA1c, fasting glucose, lipid panel, liver enzymes, hormonal markers) into targeted dietary modifications.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic diets: low-carbohydrate protocols, low-GI frameworks, anti- inflammatory eating patterns, and structured intermittent fasting where appropriate.
- Calculate and adjust macronutrient targets — protein, carbohydrate, fat, and fibre — based on each patient’s current metabolic response and progress.
- Design condition-specific diet plans: diabetic diets, renal-friendly plans, PCOS nutrition protocols, lipid-lowering diets, and liver-supportive eating.
- Ensure all diet plans remain fully aligned with the treating doctor’s medical interventions and the fitness coach’s activity protocols.
3. Clinical Triad Coordination
- Participate actively in weekly internal team reviews with the Doctor and Fitness Coach.
- Flag patients with poor dietary adherence, unexpected weight changes, or nutritional deficiencies to the treating doctor promptly.
- Receive updated dietary direction from the Doctor after each patient consultation and incorporate it into the patient’s plan immediately.
- Collaborate with the Fitness Coach to ensure caloric intake, meal timing, and activity levels are calibrated and consistent.
4. Documentation & Records
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date dietary and diet records for every patient on all designated platforms.
- Document every consultation promptly — dietary assessment findings, plan issued, patient feedback, adherence level, and next steps.
- Prepare patient dietary progress summaries for internal team reviews and patient-facing progress reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND
Required
- B.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition, Dietetics, Home Science (Nutrition), or Clinical Nutrition from a recognised, accredited institution — mandatory.
- Valid registration with the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) or equivalent state body, where applicable.
- 2+ years of post-qualification patient-facing experience in clinical dietetics or nutrition counselling.
- Working knowledge of diet management for metabolic conditions: Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension,
Obesity, and PCOS.
- Ability to read and interpret basic lab reports: HbA1c, fasting glucose, lipid panel, liver function tests, thyroid panel.
- Strong one-on-one communication and counselling skills — ability to explain dietary guidance empathetically and practically.
- Willingness to be trained in a structured, protocol-based clinical nutrition and dietetics approach.
Preferred — Strong Advantage
- M.Sc. in Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Food & Nutrition, or a related field.
- PG Diploma in Dietetics or Clinical Nutrition.
- Prior clinical or hospital-based dietetics experience with metabolic or lifestyle disease patients.
- Hands-on exposure to low-carbohydrate nutrition, therapeutic fasting, or metabolic dietary protocols.
- Familiarity with disease reversal as a dietary and clinical nutrition approach.
- Proficiency with diet planning software or digital dietary tracking tools.
- A personal orientation toward healthy eating and an active lifestyle — practitioners who live by these principles bring a level of genuine understanding that is difficult to teach.
