About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations, end-to-end bookkeeping, and statutory tax compliance.
The ideal candidate has deep experience handling Indian corporate taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), managing month-end closings, and coordinating seamlessly with auditors. What You'll Do
- Financial Operations: Supervise full-cycle general ledger accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Tax Compliance: Manage and prepare data for timely filings of GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS/TCS returns, and advance tax computations.
- Month-End & Year-End Closure: Lead the book-closing processes, prepare error-free balance sheets, P&L statements, and MIS reports for management.
- Audit Preparation: Maintain records up-to-date and act as the primary liaison for internal/external statutory auditors.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current accounting workflows and recommend modifications to internal controls and cloud systems to increase efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven work experience as a Senior Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, or Senior Accounts Executive.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce (B.Com/M.Com), Finance, or Inter-CA/IPCC.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks) and expert-level MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data structuring).
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), corporate compliance, and current direct/indirect tax structures.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, sharp attention to precision, and excellent communication skills to coordinate across internal teams.
