Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily heat treatment operations (annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, etc.).
- Operate and monitor furnaces, oil/gas quenching systems, and temperature controllers.
- Maintain heat treatment cycle records, furnace charts, and load details.
- Check hardness and ensure treated parts meet required specifications.
- Supervise operators and helpers in loading/unloading and handling components.
- Coordinate with machining and quality teams for timely and quality output.
- Ensure proper maintenance of furnaces, burners, and temperature instruments.
- Follow all safety norms during furnace and quenching operations.
- Maintain housekeeping and discipline in the heat treatment area.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in heat treatment operations (preferably in a steel casting or forging unit).
Key Skills:
- Practical knowledge of furnace operation and temperature control.
- Understanding of heat treatment cycles and hardness testing.
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy and microstructure.
- Ability to lead a small team and manage shifts.
- Commitment to quality and safety.
Pay: ₹16,789.29 - ₹30,470.28 per month
