Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Diploma or certification in inventory control, warehouse management, or ERP systems (preferred but not always required).
- Advanced certifications (optional but valuable):
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.
- Familiarity with stock control systems, inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, Zoho Inventory).
- Experience working with supply chain or production departments.
Key Skills
- Excellent knowledge of inventory procedures and stock-taking methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet/data analysis tools.
- Strong data entry, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Familiarity with barcoding systems, RFID, and warehouse technology.
- ERP and WMS (Warehouse Management System) proficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all locations.
- Perform regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
- Create and manage inventory reports, tracking KPIs like turnover rate, shrinkage, and aging stock.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Ensure inventory is stored and rotated according to FIFO/LIFO standards.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to match inventory records.
