Role Overview:
We’re seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial-minded leader to oversee and elevate our
online and offline events — from concept through post-event analysis. You’ll ensure
every initiative resonates with our senior-focused community, stays on budget and on
schedule, and delivers measurable impact. In addition to directing logistics and
stakeholder coordination, you’ll own the creation of insightful post-event reports to
inform strategy and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Coordination
Membership Drive & Community Outreach:
Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members for Vayah Vikas.
Organize community events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote membership.
Identify and engage with key community groups (apartments, clubs, associations, NGOs) to
expand the organization's reach.
Activity Planning & Execution:
Plan and execute targeted campaigns and events to drive membership growth offline.
Collaborate with the Tamil Nadu Chapter team to understand local needs and tailor membership
activities accordingly.
Ensure all events and activities follow clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with community SPOC, partners, and potential members.
Serve as the liaison between Vayah Vikas and community organizations, ensuring effective
communication and collaboration.
Data Collection & Reporting:
Monitor and record membership drive metrics and engagement levels.
Prepare regular reports detailing progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide insights and feedback to the management team to refine outreach strategies.
Additional Duties:
Support other mobilization efforts and initiatives as assigned by the management.
Assist in developing materials and tools to facilitate the membership drive.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in event planning and 1+ years in a leadership
role.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, cost optimization, and data-driven analysis of
attendance, feedback, and ROI.
- Strong leadership and team-development skills, including mentoring,
performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for crafting proposals,
presentations, and vendor/sponsor partnerships.
- Deep operational know-how in end-to-end event logistics, risk management, and
on-site coordination.
- Creative, strategic thinker with empathy for seniors, adept at designing inclusive,
engaging experiences and driving innovation.
- Proven experience in community mobilization, membership drives, or related outreach
roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan, execute, and manage community events and campaigns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with local community networks and an understanding of senior citizen issues is
a plus.
- Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Tamil) and English.
