Job Title: Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse
Department: Nursing / Patient Care Job Summary: Provide high-quality patient care, assist doctors in medical procedures, monitor patient health, and maintain nursing records. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with hospital protocols. Key Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patient health status (vitals, symptoms, progress). Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians. Assist doctors during procedures, minor surgeries, and emergency care. Maintain accurate patient records and charts. Provide patient education and counseling for treatment plans. Ensure infection control and maintain hygiene standards. Coordinate with doctors, lab, and other hospital departments. Handle emergencies and provide first aid or critical care support. Supervise junior staff and trainee nurses, if applicable. Participate in continuing education and hospital training programs. Qualification: BSc Nursing / GNM / Diploma in Nursing Registered with the State Nursing Council Experience: Freshers to 5+ years depending on hospital requirements. Skills: Strong clinical and patient care skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends Knowledge of hospital protocols and medical documentation Work Conditions: Rotational shifts, including night duty Exposure to infectious diseases and emergency situations Fast-paced hospital environment
