GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Smart Solution Support Backend Engineer is responsible for supporting Smart Solution vendors and internal TASMU stakeholders in integrating their applications with TASMU backend services This includes guiding vendors on onboarding processes validating technical alignment with TASMU architecture resolving backendAPI issues reviewing solution readiness and ensuring compliance with TASMU platform standards security and operational guidelines
This role corresponds to Service Engineer Backend under Smart Solution Support
this role requires strong backend engineering knowledge plus a clear understanding of TASMU platform policies and Azure ecosystem capabilities
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Smart Solution Onboarding Support
Guide Smart Solution vendors in the technical onboarding process to TASMU platform backend services
Validate that vendor architectures APIs payloads and data flows align with TASMU platform requirements and policies
Explain TASMUs backend capabilities integration patterns and API usage guidelines to vendors
2 Backend Engineering API Troubleshooting
Support backend troubleshooting involving APIs data flow issues authenticationauthorization problems and integration failures
Analyse logs request traces and backend service behaviour to resolve technical problems
Collaborate with API team Data teams and DevSecOps to ensure smooth stable integration experiences
3 Azure Platform TASMU Policy Alignment
Ensure all Smart Solution interactions comply with TASMU platform policies operational guidelines and security standards
Leverage understanding of Azure backend services APIs Functions microservices identity monitoring to guide solution teams
Validate readiness for onboarding phases endtoend functional behaviour and platform compatibility noted as a key expectation in rejection feedback
4 Operational Support Issue Resolution
Provide L2L3 support for solution specific backend issues raised by Smart Solution vendors or Ooredoo teams
Perform root cause analysis for issues around API failures inconsistent payloads data unavailability and integration deviations
Coordinate with platform operations to stabilize backend services impacting Smart Solution use cases
5 Collaboration Across TASMU Streams
Work closely with Smart Solution Onboarding API Engineering Data Ingestion Data Management and platform operations teams
Participate in cross functional workshops KT sessions vendor calls and solution assessment meetings
Communicate recommended solution changes risks and best practices to both vendor teams and Ooredoo internal teams
6 Documentation Process Improvements
Maintain documentation onboarding steps integration guides backend dependencies troubleshooting paths and solution specific notes
Contribute to templates checklists and reusable references for future Smart Solution onboarding cycles
Suggest improvements in workflows compliance checks API documentation and backend integration processes
SKILLS ABILITIES
Strong backend engineering experience using C NET ASPNET Web API or equivalent backend stacks mapped from similar backend roles in the JD template table
Understanding of Azure cloud components used in TASMU operationsAzure Functions API Management App Services Identity LoggingMonitoring
Strong troubleshooting skills for backend systems API integrations and dataAPI contract mismatches
Ability to understand TASMU platform policies smart solution eligibility onboarding governance and operational standards highlighted as key in interview feedback
Excellent communication skills to interface with Smart Solution vendors Ooredoo leads and internal platform teams
Ability to work in highpressure operational environments involving multiple vendors and concurrent solution onboardings
