Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate GDMO (General Duty Medical Officer) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, assisting in clinical procedures, and supporting the hospital’s healthcare delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general medical consultation and treatment to patients admitted or visiting the hospital.
Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and necessary investigations.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital protocols.
Assist specialists and other medical staff in clinical procedures.
Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, health and safety regulations, and medical ethics.
Participate in emergency cases and provide immediate medical attention as required.
Engage in continuous medical education and attend training sessions to stay updated with medical advancements.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or applicable State Medical Council.
Proven experience as a GDMO or similar role in a hospital setting.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Compassionate and patient-centric approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle emergency situations.
