Fabric Follow-Up – Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with fabric mills, suppliers, and processing units for timely fabric follow-up.
- Track fabric development, dyeing, printing, finishing, and delivery status.
- Ensure fabric quality approvals, lab dips, shade approvals, and testing are completed on time.
- Maintain fabric pending, inward, shortage, and delivery status reports.
- Coordinate with merchandising, QA, stores, and production teams for smooth production flow.
- Follow up on delays, replacement fabrics, transportation, and dispatch schedules.
- Maintain fabric-related documents, invoices, challans, and daily tracking updates.
Skills Required
Knowledge of fabric processing, good communication, supplier coordination, Excel/ERP knowledge, and understanding of garment production flow.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Textile or related field with 2–5 years of experience in the garment or textile industry.
