Job Title: Policy & Compliance Manager
Department: Legal & Compliance (Management)
Location: As per organization requirement
Reports To: Director / CEO/Management Director
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, MoUs, contracts, and policies.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, government regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Handle and coordinate with external legal counsel.
- Provide legal advice to management on organizational matters.
- Develop, draft, review, and update organizational policies, SOPs, manuals, and legal frameworks.
- Ensure all organizational policies comply with applicable laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Advise management on policy formulation, governance, risk management, and legal compliance.
- Design and implement internal compliance and governance policies to strengthen organizational systems.
- Review HR, Finance, Procurement, Administration, and Project policies from a legal and compliance perspective.
- Conduct periodic policy reviews and recommend amendments based on changes in laws and organizational needs.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure effective implementation of approved policies.
- Provide legal and policy guidance to management during strategic planning and decision-making.
- Support contract negotiations with clients, vendors, consultants, and partners.
- Ensure timely filing of legal and statutory documents.
- Maintain legal records and documentation.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Assist in matters related to labor laws, HR compliance, taxation, procurement, and corporate governance.
- Liaise with government departments, regulatory authorities, and legal agencies.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
- Provide legal awareness and compliance training to employees when required.
Qualification:
Masters in related field.
Experience:
5–8 years of relevant experience in legal compliance, contract management, litigation, and corporate/legal advisory.
Experience with NGOs, government projects, CSR, or procurement-related legal matters will be preferred.
Skills Required:
Excellent knowledge of Indian laws and legal procedures.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Good communication and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
