We are seeking a proactive Estimation Engineer to support our tendering and estimation operations. This role focuses on analyzing project requirements, coordinating with vendors, and preparing accurate cost estimates to support project execution.Sourcing: Identify and connect with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors for project requirements.
- Tender Review: Study tender documents, drawings, BOQ, and specifications to understand project scope.
- Query Management: Raise technical queries for any gaps or clarifications in project documents.
- Vendor Management: Follow up with vendors to obtain quotations and clarify requirements.
- Evaluation: Analyze and compare quotations based on technical and commercial aspects.
- Coordination: Work with internal teams and suppliers for smooth estimation and submission process.
- Costing: Prepare rate analysis and final cost estimates for tenders.
- Reporting: Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, and submitted tenders.
- Submission: Ensure timely preparation and submission of tenders as per client requirements.
- Meetings: Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client discussions when required.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Skills: Basic understanding of electrical drawings, BOQ, and estimation process
- Communication: Good coordination and interpersonal skills
