- Job Summary
- The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the complete store and warehouse operations at the animal pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role involves handling raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, engineering items, and other inventory while ensuring proper storage, inventory accuracy, timely material movement, and compliance with GMP, SOP, safety, and quality requirements.
- Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations
- Manage day-to-day factory store operations, including receiving, inspection coordination, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure proper segregation and identification of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, rejected materials, and quarantine stock.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceutical and temperature-sensitive materials.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical stock registers.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock verification.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and expired materials.
- Ensure proper batch-wise and expiry-wise inventory management.
GMP & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, SOPs, and company quality procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all store transactions.
- Ensure materials are stored according to approved conditions and procedures.
- Support internal, external, regulatory, and customer audits.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for material status, quarantine, release, rejection, and disposal.
- Material Receipt & Issue
- Coordinate receipt of raw materials and packing materials from suppliers.
- Verify quantity, batch details, documentation, and physical condition of materials.
- Ensure timely issue of materials to Production as per approved material requisitions.
- Coordinate with Production and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Ensure proper documentation of material movement.
- Finished Goods Management
- Coordinate with Production and QA for receipt and release of finished goods.
- Maintain finished goods inventory batch-wise.
- Ensure proper storage and timely dispatch of finished products.
- Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for customer and depot shipments.
- Team Management
- Supervise Store Executives, Store Assistants, and warehouse helpers.
- Allocate daily work and monitor team productivity.
- Train team members on SOPs, GMP, safety, and warehouse practices.
- Ensure discipline and proper documentation within the department.
- Coordination & MIS
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Purchase, Planning, Finance, and Logistics departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Provide stock availability and consumption reports to management.
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight material shortages in advance.
- Support monthly and annual stock reconciliation.

- Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Pharm / B.Sc. / B.Com / Supply Chain or Logistics qualification preferred
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, veterinary pharma, animal health, or manufacturing stores
- Experience in handling RM, PM and FG stores is preferred
- Experience in ERP/SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
