The group specialises in converting high-potential assets into profitable, compliant hospitality and rental businesses and currently operates seven successful hotels across the UK, supported by an integrated operating model covering hotel operations, financial governance, and regulatory compliance.
ROLE OVERVIEW :
Homesly Stays & Properties UK is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting for its UK hospitality and property portfolio. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory and management reporting, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations, and providing financial insights to support informed business decisions.
This position is ideal for a strong core accountant based in India who is keen to build UK accounting exposure within a structured and fast-growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily accounting operations including passing Journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in payroll processing and compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Manage invoices, vendor payments, and follow-ups on outstanding receivables.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders as required.
- Track expenses, analyse variances, and provide cost-saving insights.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Assist management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors during audits and assessments
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal policies
Skills & Requirements :
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices, VAT, and compliance. if not we train for UK
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
