Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain high quality applications for the Android platform
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Translate designs and wireframes into clean and efficient, high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Performing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
- Monitoring the performance of live apps
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency, staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related subject
- Knowledge of Android SDK and UI design principles and interface guidelines, patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
