Roles and Responsibilities of a Civil Engineer:
1. Planning and Designing
- Prepare designs, drawings, and specifications for construction projects.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
- Use engineering software such as AutoCAD and STAAD. Pro for design and structural analysis.
- Ensure designs comply with government regulations and safety standards.
2. Project Management
- Plan project schedules and timelines.
- Manage budget, resources, and manpower.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Site Supervision
- Supervise construction activities on-site.
- Ensure proper use of materials such as concrete, steel, and aggregates.
- Monitor quality of construction work.
- Enforce safety procedures for workers.
4. Surveying and Site Investigation
- Conduct land surveys and soil testing.
- Study topography and environmental conditions.
- Use surveying instruments like Total Station, GPS, and leveling instruments.
5. Quality Control
- Inspect construction materials and workmanship.
- Perform tests on concrete, soil, and other materials.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
6. Maintenance and Inspection
- Inspect existing structures like bridges, buildings, and roads.
- Plan repair, rehabilitation, or strengthening works.
- Ensure long-term durability and safety of infrastructure.
7. Environmental and Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure projects minimize environmental impact.
- Follow environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Maintain safe working conditions at construction sites.
8. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Maintain records of construction progress and quality tests.
Experience Required - 3 Plus years of Experience will be preferred.
NOTE - Engineer having Experience in civil work related to jewellery manufacturing setups will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
