- Logistics & Routing: Plan and supervise daily routes to maximize speed, minimize fuel consumption, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the fleet strictly adheres to government transport regulations, weight limits, and driver hours. Carry out safety audits and oversee accident investigations.
- Fleet Maintenance: Schedule routine vehicle maintenance, arrange necessary repairs, and maintain accurate records of inspections and licensing.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff. Address driver grievances and performance metrics.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor transportation spending, negotiate contracts with third-party carriers, and optimize overall logistics expenses.
