Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior PLC Engineer to handle automation projects related to lithium battery manufacturing machinery and complete automation lines. The candidate should be capable of independently managing PLC programming, machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site project execution.
The role requires technical leadership, problem-solving ability, and coordination with electrical, mechanical, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
PLC Programming & Automation
PLC programming and modification
HMI programming and screen development
Servo and VFD integration
Automation logic development
Machine sequence programming
Communication protocol integration (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, RS485, CAN, etc.)
Project Execution
Machine commissioning at customer site
Line integration and testing
Troubleshooting electrical and automation issues
FAT & SAT execution
Support during installation and production trials
Coordinate with project and production teams
Technical Responsibilities
Electrical panel understanding
Sensor and actuator integration
Troubleshooting PLC hardware/software
Machine safety logic implementation
Documentation of programs and backups
Preparation of electrical/automation reports
Team Management
Guide junior engineers
Support engineer training
Maintain project timelines
Coordinate with clients during commissioning
Escalate critical technical issues to management
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of PLC programming
Experience with HMI & SCADA systems
Knowledge of industrial automation systems
Understanding of servo drives, VFDs, sensors, and industrial networking
Ability to handle site work independently
Good troubleshooting skills
Technical documentation ability

Experience in one or more:

Allen Bradley
Schneider
Qualification
B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
Experience
5+ years experience in industrial automation
Experience in machine automation preferred
Lithium battery industry experience will be an advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹1,391,882.49 per month
