Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CloudOps Engineer L2 to join our managed services team. This role requires a seasoned professional who can handle complex cloud operations, lead incident resolution initiatives, and drive automation while mentoring junior team members. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality managed services to our clients while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Incident & Problem ManagementLead incident management and resolution for complex cloud infrastructure issuesTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems across multi-cloud environmentsParticipate in on-call rotation and emergency responseConduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents
2. Operations & MaintenanceManage comprehensive patch management programs across cloud environmentsExecute and monitor backup and recovery operations ensuring data integrityImplement and oversee change management processes and proceduresConduct tactical capacity planning and resource optimization activities
3. Security & ComplianceImplement security compliance requirements and industry best practicesIdentify and remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud environmentsEnsure adherence to security frameworks and regulatory requirementsSupport compliance audits, assessments, and documentation
4. Required Qualifications:
EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
CertificationsAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred)Additional AWS certifications (Professional level preferred)Relevant cloud certifications from Azure or GCP (advantageous)
Technical Skills
Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormationOperating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
Networking: Understanding of cloud networking, VPCs, security groups, and network troubleshootingSecurity: Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworksProfessional Experience3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud operations and infrastructure managementProven track record in incident management, troubleshooting, and problem resolutionExperience in managed services environment with client-facing responsibilitiesPrevious experience in automation implementation and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant technical fieldExperience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
