Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive - Accounts to join our team. As a Finance Executive - Accounts, you will be deployed in client locations responsible for managing all aspects of the financial operations from an accounting, reporting and compliance perspective, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger etc. You will also play a key role in analyzing financial data and providing insights to support the management team in decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about finance and wish to specialize in process improvements, identifying gaps and setting standard operating procedures along with assistance in audits.
Responsibilities
- Review accounting on a regular basis with respect to all items of Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure that the books of accounts are updated regularly with month end provisions, book closures being done timely
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing, cash application, and collections.
- Oversee internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial data to support decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
- Develop and implement sales, procurement and other relevant policies, ensuring adherence to guidelines and setting standard operating procedures.
- Assist in Monthly Compliances i.e. GST, TDS, PF, PT etc
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field/ CA Inter.
- Proven work experience as a Finance Executive, handling book closures or similar role (1-3 years).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices along with taxation.
- Proficiency in using accounting software i.e. Tally and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
