Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Production Engineers in day-to-day manufacturing and shop floor activities.
- Support the assembly, fabrication, and testing of Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Read and understand engineering drawings and follow manufacturing instructions.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Design, and Stores teams for smooth workflow.
- Monitor production progress and update daily production reports.
- Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and equipment during manufacturing.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in identifying and resolving basic production issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support machine installation, trial runs, and inspection activities.
- Learn production planning, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of SPM, Machine Building, fabrication, assembly, and engineering drawings.
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in manufacturing and production.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and travel if required.
