Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end Sea and Air Freight operations. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in freight booking, documentation, CHA coordination, freight costing, and overseas agent management within the Indian freight forwarding industry (Back office experience will not be considered).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Sea and Air Freight Import & Export operations.
- Handle freight quotations, pricing, and customer proposals.
- Coordinate bookings with Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Airlines, and Freight Partners.
- Oversee Import and Export documentation for Sea and Air shipments.
- Coordinate with CHAs, Customs authorities, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Liaise with overseas agents and international partners for shipment execution and pricing.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to customers.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Support business growth through strong customer and vendor relationships.
Mandatory Requirements
- Hands-on experience in both Sea Freight and Air Freight operations.
- Strong knowledge of Import and Export documentation.
- Experience in freight quotation, costing, and carrier negotiations.
- Experience in CHA coordination and Customs Clearance processes.
- Experience managing end-to-end freight forwarding operations in India.
- Overseas back-office/BPO experience alone will not be considered.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Kochi.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Sea Freight EXIM in India (Quotation, Docs & CHA Coord.): 2 years (Required)
- Air Freight EXIM in India (Quotation, Docs & CHA Coord.): 1 year (Required)
- Freight Booking (Shipping lines/Airlines and NVOCC): 1 year (Required)
