QA Manager – Derma Cosmetic Division
Location: Kuvadva GIDC, Rajkot, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in implementing and maintaining robust quality management systems tailored for derma cosmetic manufacturing.
- Develop, review, and update SOPs to ensure compliance with national and international cosmetic regulations (e.g., CDSCO, BIS).
- Supervise in-process and finished product testing; analyze results to identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with R&D, Production, and Packaging teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Manage internal audits and facilitate external inspections by regulatory authorities.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality; implement corrective/preventive actions as needed.
- Train staff on quality standards, GMP guidelines, and hygiene practices relevant to dermacosmetics.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all QA activities and ensure traceability of records.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry; experience with derma cosmetics preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of GMP guidelines and Indian/international cosmetic regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English; proficiency in Gujarati/Hindi is an advantage.
- Proven leadership abilities – experience managing a QA team is essential.
Preferred Attributes:
- PMP/Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training is desirable.
- Keen interest in advancements within the derma cosmetic sector.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive quality assurance professional to ensure our cosmetic products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and SOPs specific to derma cosmetic products.
- Monitor and inspect incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct routine audits of manufacturing processes and documentation for continuous improvement.
- Review batch records, test reports, and certificates of analysis to verify product quality before release.

- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry; experience with derma cosmetics is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of GMP guidelines and Indian regulatory standards for cosmetics manufacturing (BIS/ISO/CDSCO).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
