Job Summary:
The Senior Legal Collections Executive will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts, legal recovery proceedings, court-related matters, borrower negotiations, and ensuring recovery of overdue loans through legal and collection channels while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The role requires regular field visits, coordination with advocates, court appearances, and recovery follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle collection and recovery of overdue loan accounts.
- Conduct field visits for recovery and borrower tracing activities.
- Coordinate with panel advocates, legal agencies, and local authorities.
- Prepare and maintain legal notices, demand notices, and recovery documentation.
- Attend court hearings, Lok Adalat proceedings, arbitration matters, and other legal recovery forums as required.
- Track legal cases and ensure timely filing of documents.
- Negotiate settlements and repayment plans with default customers.
- Monitor and report recovery progress on assigned portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, legal regulations, and company policies during recovery activities.
- Support branch teams in resolving high-risk and chronic delinquency accounts.
- Maintain MIS reports and recovery records on a regular basis.
- Liaise with police stations, courts, advocates, and government authorities whenever required.
- Assist management in reducing portfolio delinquency and improving recovery efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
- LLB (Mandatory)
- LLM will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Legal Collections, Recovery, Litigation, or NBFC/Banking Collections.
- Experience in vehicle finance, three-wheeler finance, or retail asset recovery will be preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of legal recovery processes and collection practices.
- Court handling and litigation coordination skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of SARFAESI, Arbitration, Lok Adalat, and recovery proceedings will be preferred.
- Good documentation and report preparation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Candidates from NBFC, Banking, Vehicle Finance, or Recovery Agencies will be preferred.
- Must possess strong field recovery experience.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
